Research buying guide
A useful KPV buying guide should answer more than where to find a vial. It should identify the material, explain the order format and make the available analytical evidence clear. Here is what the current SRL KPV listing offers.
SRL lists standalone KPV with a declared 10 mg per vial, as a single vial or a box of ten. Batch-specific COA documentation is currently pending. No lot-specific purity or testing result is claimed while that report is unavailable.
Identify standalone KPV before choosing a listing
KPV is the three-residue peptide Lys-Pro-Val. Published work has investigated its uptake through PepT1 and cellular signaling in experimental models. That research identifies a scientific context; it does not establish a result for a commercial vial or a human benefit.
Check that a listing describes standalone KPV rather than a multi-component blend, a capsule or another consumer formulation. A shared ingredient name does not make those formats interchangeable. The KPV 10 mg research vial listing is a research-material vial with one available size option: 10 mg.
Single vial versus a box of ten
| Format | Declared amount per unit | Unit count | Nominal total |
|---|---|---|---|
| KPV single vial | 10 mg | 1 | 10 mg |
| KPV 10-pack | 10 mg | 10 | 100 mg |
A 10-pack means ten separate vials. It does not mean one 100 mg vial, and it does not by itself establish that all ten units have one lot number. Confirm lot allocation if your procurement requirements depend on a consistent lot.
Compare the KPV 10 mg single-vial price with the KPV box-of-ten price. Divide the box price by ten to compare nominal per-vial cost, then check the cart total. Do not assume a promotion or coupon will combine with another discount unless the cart confirms it.
KPV and KLOW answer different ordering questions
KPV names one peptide identity. KLOW names a multi-component blend whose complete composition and declared component amounts need to be read separately. The total amount of a blend is not automatically the amount of KPV inside it.
If a study calls for a defined standalone material, replacing it with a blend changes the material being ordered. If a project requires a blend, substituting one component does not reproduce that formulation. Start with the actual project specification rather than a shared keyword.
The GLOW versus KLOW comparison and research blends collection provide the separate blend context. This KPV guide is about purchasing the standalone vial.
The current COA status is pending
At this review, SRL’s KPV View COA control is disabled because the batch-specific report has not been uploaded. This is a documentation gap, not a reported purity result. A paper on KPV, a certificate for KLOW or another supplier’s report cannot fill that gap.
- Ask support whether a report has become available for the proposed shipping lot.
- Check identity evidence and any quantitative result required by your project.
- Match the lot and sample description before treating a new report as applicable.
- If your acceptance criteria require a COA before purchase, wait for that document.
Use SRL support for a documentation-status request. This article should not be treated as a substitute certificate.
Frequently asked purchasing questions
Is KPV available in more than one size at SRL?
The current single-vial listing has a 10 mg size option. A box of ten adds units, not another per-vial size.
Is KPV 10 mg the same as KLOW 80 mg?
No. Standalone KPV and a named multi-component blend are different ordering specifications. Read each product’s composition and amount basis.
Does SRL currently publish a KPV batch purity figure?
No lot-specific result is claimed while the report is pending. Check the live product page for any later documentation update.
Where should a repeat buyer start?
Revisit the current KPV page rather than assuming the prior price, lot or documentation status still applies.
